Elad Harison

Elad Harison is the head of Industrial Engineering and Management Department at the Shenkar College of Engineering and Design (Israel) and an affiliated researcher at the United Nations University-MERIT (The Netherlands). He holds a PhD from the Maastricht University (The Netherlands). His research interests are in the areas of innovation, services and ICT. He has written a book on the economics and policy of software intellectual property rights and has published in international journals including: Research Policy, the International Journal of Information Management, Economics of Innovation and New Technology and the Journal of Air Transport Management. He has been a policy expert on Israeli innovation and on the patentability of computer implemented inventions in EC projects and a member of the EC's Expert Group on Intellectual Property Rights in Internet Collaborations.
