Eda Başak Hancı-Azizoglu

Eda Başak Hancı-Azizoglu gained her Ph.D. in English Language from Indiana University of Pennsylvania with a double major in Composition/Rhetoric and Applied Linguistics/TESOL. Her knowledge and experience lie in the areas of English language, literacy, culture, and writing. She is an expert on global perspectives on language and literacy policies, practices and English language learning and writing programs. She has extensive English Language teaching experience in American public schools and universities. She served as a chair in English Departments, where she developed English language programs depending on her students’ unique and diverse needs. She has given master’s level courses to certified American school teachers to provide them leadership and skills on language teaching methods for multicultural students. Her research interests are artificial linguistic intelligence, linguistic analysis, the poetic and creative function of English as an additional language.
