Divakara Bhat

Divakara Bhat , is a professor and guide at Srinivas University, Mangaluru, with a total experience of 40 years. He was a rank holder in the Masters of Library and Information Science in 1995. He has published over forty-six research papers in national and international journals and conferences. In addition, he authored 14 books and edited three books and four conference proceedings. He was the recipient of the ‘Best Research Papers’ National Award from MANLIBNET, New Delhi. He also won the “Best Librarian” award from DKKLA, Udupi, in recognition of his exceptional contributions to the field of library science. He has guided four research scholars, and he has organised national and international conferences and workshops. He served as a resource person at various events at the national and state levels.
