Dhinakaran Damodaran

D. Dhinakaran (M'84) was born in Chennai, Tamilnadu, India, in 1984. He is a distinguished scholar and educator with a passion for advancing the fields of Computer Science and Engineering. Dr. Dhinakaran earned his B.E degree in Computer Science and Engineering from Anna University, Chennai, in 2006, showcasing early dedication to his academic pursuits. Building upon his foundation, he pursued and obtained the M.E degree in the field of Computer Science and Engineering from Anna University, Trichy, in 2009. Demonstrating a commitment to academic excellence, Dr. Dhinakaran completed his Ph.D. in Computer Science and Engineering from Anna University, Chennai, further solidifying his expertise in the field. Currently serving as an Assistant Professor in the Department of Computer Science and Engineering at Vel Tech Rangarajan Dr. Sagunthala R&D Institute of Science and Technology, Chennai, Dr. Dhinakaran continues to inspire students and colleagues alike. His areas of specialization encompass Privacy-Preserving Data Mining, Artificial Intelligence, Internet of Things (IoT), Mobile Ad Hoc Networks (MANET), Cloud Computing, and Image Processing, reflecting his diverse and extensive contributions to cutting-edge technologies. Dr. Dhinakaran is a prolific researcher, having presented more than 30 papers at various National and International Conferences. His commitment to advancing knowledge is evident through his membership in esteemed professional societies such as IAENG (International Association of Engineers), IFERP (International Foundation for Engineering Research and Publications), and CSTA (Computer Science Teachers Association). Notably, Dr. Dhinakaran has made significant contributions to academic literature, with publications in 50 different international journals and the successful filing of two patents. His work demonstrates a keen interest in addressing contemporary challenges and pushing the boundaries of technological innovation. As an accomplished academic, researcher, and member of professional societies, Dr. Dhinakaran continues to play a pivotal role in shaping the future of Computer Science and Engineering, leaving an indelible mark on both academia and the broader technological landscape.
