Deyu Gu

Gu Deyu is the Executive Director of Qifu Capital (Singapore), a China-based venture capital firm that focuses on early-stage investment. She oversees Qifu's investment and fund management activities in Singapore and Southeast Asia. The company’s portfolio features celebrity investees such as Gaotu Techedu (NYSE: GOTU), Pop Mart (HKG: 9992), and over a dozen listed companies across the three major markets of China’s A-share, Hong Kong, and U.S. stock markets. Ms. Gu Deyu graduated from the National University of Singapore with a bachelor’s degree in science. Over the years, she has been invited to give guest lectures at Singapore Management University’s Lee Kong Chian School of Business, mentor entrepreneurial students for the National University of Singapore Entrepreneurship Program, and act as a judge for prestigious regional start-up competitions, including the 2019 Xiaomi (HKG: 1810) AI International Entrepreneurship Competition, the Asia Pacific Division of 2021 China Optics Valley International Entrepreneurship Competition, SLINGSHOT 2022 (Asia’s biggest deep tech start-up competition), Y&ARCHER A-Stream 2023, etc. Her investment research interests include generative AI, educational technology, and Web3.
