Devi Nallappan

Devi Nallappan is a lecturer at the Department of Biomedical Science, Lincoln University College. Dr. Devi earned a Bachelor of Applied Science (Hons) in Bioindustrial Technology with first-class honors from University of Malaysia Kelantan in 2016. She went on to complete her PhD in Biomedical Science, with a focus on Biochemistry, at Universiti Malaya in 2022. Dr Devi's research during her PhD investigated the use of natural compounds to prevent and treat high-fat diet-induced obesity and its associated complications. She also worked on nano biomedicine-related projects, concentrating on the green synthesis of nanoparticles and their potential biological effects. Dr Devi has published numerous ISI-indexed reviews and research articles and has been awarded best oral and poster presenter in symposiums and conferences.
