Deborah Outhwaite

Deb Outhwaite has taught in both schools and Higher Education for 30 years. She is the Director of the Developing Teachers Schools, and Academies (DTSA) and an EdD supervisor in the Centre of Higher Education Studies (CHES) at the University of Liverpool. Deb has a long-standing interest in the CPLD of teachers having programme led the Masters in Professional Education at the University of Warwick. She is a Fellow of: the Chartered College of Teaching, the RSA, CollectiveEd, and the Institute of Educational and Social Equity (IESE). Deb is BELMAS Chair 2023 – 2026, and sits on the All-Party Parliamentary Group (APPG) for the Teaching Profession.
