David Ray Gutierrez Miranda

David Ray Gutierrez Miranda is a second-year doctoral student, funded through an OSEP fellowship, at Purdue University majoring in Special Education. He currently holds a board-certified behavior analyst (BCBA®) credential. He graduated with a bachelor’s degree in psychology from the University of California, Los Angeles and a master’s degree in applied behavior analysis (ABA) from Michigan State University. David has previously supported people with disabilities in settings such as adult residential homes, schools, and ABA clinics. David’s current research focuses on incorporating student choice and preferences into the services they receive, evaluating behavioral interventions, and training adults to implement these behavioral interventions.
