D. Renuka Devi

Renuka Devi D. is Assistant Professor, in the Department of Computer Science, Stella Maris College, Chennai, India. Having 14+ years of rich teaching experience, Ph.D in University of Madras. Her Research interests include Data mining, Machine Learning, Big Data and Artificial Intelligence. She has published a book “Research Practitioner’s Handbook on Big Data Analytics” Apple Academic Press, CRC Press, USA, book chapter and 20+ research articles (National and International), including IEEE, Springer, Scopus, and Web of Science. She has published patents. She has also presented papers at International conferences and received the best paper award and she is also presented with Best Researcher award. She has been a reviewer in international peer reviewed Scopus and SCI indexed journals. She has been invited for talks in conferences and workshops. Her commitment to innovation is evident through patents, including Innovation patent for Un Nanban, an AI-based interactive web and voice application, and a Design patent for a “Smart Walking Stick” for visually impaired individuals in 2023. Represented India as a panelist in the “Global Perspectives on Artificial Intelligence in Higher Education - A virtual roundtable on AI” in 2023 organised by Alamo Colleges District, San Antonio, USA.
