D. Lakshmi

Lakshmi D. is Associate Professor of Department of Electrical and Electronics Engineering, Academy of Maritime Education and Training, Deemed to be University, Chennai, Tamil Nādu, India. She has more than 21 years of expertise in the field of power systems. She has guided more than 30 UG students, 10 PG students and 4 research scholars. She has published six book chapters in wiley, Elsevier, IEEE, etc., and one book on Fundamentals of Drives, 32 National, international journals and nearly 25 National and international conferences proceedings. She received many funds from reputed organizations and AICTE for contributing to recent research and product developments. Her areas of interest are Power system operation and Control, Soft Computing renewable energy systems, Microgrid, Electrical Machines.
