Carlos E. Palau

Carlos E. Palau received his M.Sc. and Ph.D. (Dr.Ing.) degrees, both in telecommunication engineering, from the Universidad Politecnica de Valencia (UPV) in 1993 and 1997, respectively. He is Full Professor in the ETSIT at UPV, and works in the Distributed Real-Time Systems research group of the Departamento de Comunicaciones. He is currently involved in research and development projects for the application of multimedia and real-time technologies to industry, defense and communications, wireless sensor networks and content distribution. Dr. Palau is involved in several IPCs of national and international conferences. He has chaired IASTED Communications Systems and Networks since 2002. He is co-author of more than 150 refereed papers in international Journals and Conferences. Prof Palau is Senior Member of IEEE.
