Carlos Agustin Poblano-Salas

Carlos Poblano-Salas is a metallurgical engineer graduated from Universidad Nacional Autonoma de Mexico where he also obtained a MSc degree in metallurgy. He obtained a PhD degree in materials science at the University of Sheffield, UK. Currently, he is director of the advanced materials department at CIATEQ A.C. His research lines include the fabrication of different metallic, ceramic,and composite materials by additive manufacturing and thermal spraying; he also works in powder metallurgy and corrosion science projects.
