Candice Rochelle Williams

Candice Williams is an Assistant Professor and the Chair of the Department of Criminal Justice at Azusa Pacific University. Williams’ background spans the field of Sociology, African American Studies, Psychology, and Criminal Justice. Dr. Williams, a graduate of The University of California, Santa Barbara (2004), received her B.A in Sociology and African American Studies, her Master’s degree in Sociology at California State University, Fullerton (2011), and her Doctorate degree in Sociology and Criminal Justice at Howard University (2016). Her current interest is advancing an evidence-based approach to developing school policies that address interpersonal violence on college and university campuses.
