Camilo López-Sánchez

Camilo López-Sánchez is a doctoral student focusing on promoting healthy lifestyles among individuals with severe mental disorders in Spain, I have actively engaged in various research and knowledge dissemination activities. These include collaborating with Research Group CTS-948 on "The PsychiActive project" and serving as a member of "PowerONyou," a platform dedicated to the transfer of knowledge and scientific research on physical activity and mental health. Additionally, I am part of the working team for the National Project "Physical activity, sedentary behavior, sleep, and physical condition in the Andalusian population with SMI," where I contribute to compositional data analysis and evaluate the effects of innovative physical exercise programs, such as PsychiActiveAND. Moreover, I have represented "PowerONyou" at both the Science Fair and the European Researchers' Night, respectively. My involvement also extends to academic events, including attending the "X Mental Health Nursing Meeting" in Cádiz and presenting on "Training for mental health well-being." Furthermore, I actively participated in the VIII EXERNET Symposium, contributing as a poster author and co- authoring multiple presentations on physical exercise for health throughout life. Additionally, I co-authored a book chapter titled "Behavioral Change Techniques to Increase Adherence to Physical Activity". These experiences have enriched my understanding of lifestyle interventions for individuals with severe mental disorders, contributing to my ongoing research endeavors in this field.
