Brian Sloboda

Brian Sloboda specializes in labor economics and microeconomic theory and has research interests in labor economics, performance measurement, and applied time series. He just finished the Post Doctoral Bridge (PDB) Program at the Warrington College of Business Administration Hough Graduate School at the University of Florida with a specialization in financial management and corporate finance. Brian has published articles in the African Journal Economic Review, Journal of Economics, Journal of Financial Issues, Advances in Econometrics, Crisis Management in Tourism (wrote a chapter on the effects of terrorism on Europe)) Tourism Economics, Journal of Transportation and Statistics, Pennsylvania Economic Review, International Journal of Transport Economics (2), Journal of Educators Online, the Journal of Transportation Research Forum, Public Administration(2), Journal of Business and Economic Studies, and the Virginia Economic Journal. He edited a volume for J Ross Publishers on Transportation Statistics. He is also a committee member for the Federal Forecasters Consortium (FFC) and a board member for the Pennsylvania Economics Association and the editorial board for the Pennsylvania Economic Review. He is the former president for the Society of Government Economists (SGE) and is now the executive director. He is currently an assistant editor for the Journal of Economics and a senior social science editor for the European Scientific Journal. He is also the book review editor for the Review of Regional Studies, the official journal of the Southern Regional Science Association.
