Bilge Abukan

Bilge Abukan is an Assist. Prof. at Ondokuz Mayif University (Turkey), Faculty of Health Sciences, Department of Social Work. She received a doctorate degree at the Clinical Social Work. At the same time, she has been continuing her law education at Ondokuz Mayıs University Faculty of Law. She has training and experience in child protection in emergencies, social work in disasters, psychological first aid and psychosocial support and secondary trauma. Her main research interests include children in need of protection, clinical social work, ecological social work, social work education, women studies, early marriage and gender.
