Bidisha Banerji

Bidisha Banerji is an educator, researcher, and people manager. She has a wide range of experience in issues related to governance, sustainable development, and social responsibility in developing markets, migration, and academia. She is Associate Professor and Deputy Director at Amity Institute of Public Policy, Amity University, Noida. Dr. Banerji is the editor of two books- Universities as Living Labs of Sustainability (2022) and Reimagining Sustainable Futures: The SDG Framework (2019). She is the Chair of ICOPP 2023, an international conference on public policy hosted by Amity University. She is part of the Trachtenberg School of Public Policy and Public Administration, The George Washington Alumni network, and the Women’s Leadership program. She is closely associated with initiatives of PRME India and public policy pedagogy in India. Her academic training is in economics and public policy in the United States and India. She has a Ph.D. and MPhil in Public Policy and Public Administration from The George Washington University (GWU), Washington D.C., where she received the Selective Excellence Fellowship. She studied at Lady Shriram College, University of Delhi, for Bachelor’ with Honours in Economics and a master’s in economics from the Department of Economics, Delhi University.
