Bhuvnesh Yadav

Bhuvnesh Yadav is currently working as an Associate Professor in the Department of Forensic Science at Amity University Haryana. She has 18 years of experience in Forensic academics and research. Dr. Yadav completed her PhD in population genetic diversity analysis from the prestigious All India Institute of Medical Sciences, India in 2010. Her area of research is forensic genetics, Molecular Biology, microdeletion, heteroplasmy analysis, and population diversity. She has been involved in many medicolegal cases during her PhD. She has received the Young Scientist award in the field of Forensic Genetics from SARC. She is a published author on numerous forensic topics and has around 60 publications in genetic diversification with Autosomal and Y markers, allelic variation, serological aspects of populations and cyber forensics. She has also published a patent on forged fingerprint detection and contributed Six polymorphism databases for Indian populations to the international YHRD database. Prior to Amity University, she had associated with SGT University from 2012-2016 and contributed as a founder member in the development of the faculty of Allied Health Sciences and had been a member of the core committees of the University.
