Betul Balikcioglu

Betul Balikcioglu is an Associate Professor of Marketing at the Hatay Mustafa Kemal University, Turkey. She received her Ph.D. degree from Ankara University with doctoral research that investigated ethnocentric, nationalistic, and religiosity tendencies of consumers’ against imported products. Betul’s research interests include the dark side of consumption such as materialism and compulsive buying in explaining consumer well-being that based on quantitative research methods. Also her researches focuses on anti-consumption practices such as consumer boycotts, brand hate, and brand avoidance.
