Beatriz López-Medina

Beatriz López-Medina holds degrees in English and German Philologies, and a Ph.D. in English Linguistics (Universidad Complutense de Madrid, UCM). Currently, she teaches at the School of Education (UCM) and coordinates Practicum (bilingual schools Erasmus program). She also provides technical assistance on Quality Assurance of Higher Education. Previously she was a civil servant for the Ministry of Education (currently on leave) and worked at Universidad Antonio de Nebrija (Director of Master in Bilingual Education and Quality Coordinator, Faculty of Arts and Humanities). She obtained the 2nd National Award on Educative Research (team member). Her main interests are Bilingual Education and Second Language Learning / Acquisition.
