Aysun Aygün Oğur

Aysun Aygün Oğur graduated from Middle East Technical University (METU) Department of City and Regional Planning. Received her master’s degree and Ph.D. in Urban and Regional Planning from İstanbul Technical University (ITU). During her Ph.D., she studied at the Catholic University of Leuven in Belgium, Division of Geography and Tourism as a guest researcher. She took part in national and international research projects and published her studies in international and national peer-reviewed journals. Currently, she works as an Associate Professor at Pamukkale University, Faculty of Architecture and Design, Department of Urban and Regional Planning. Her expertise is on climate change impacts on urban areas, tourism, and health, urban adaptation to and mitigation of climate change impacts, environmental justice, and climate justice.
