Aslı Gül Öncel

Aslı Gül Öncel is a faculty member of the Department of Management and the Director of the Business Research Center at Galatasaray University in İstanbul, Turkey. She is also a member of the academic council of ATINER institute in Athens, Greece. She earned her bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering from Yıldız Technical University and master’s degree in Industrial Engineering from Galatasaray University. She received her Ph.D. in Information and Communication Sciences from Picardie Jules Verne University in Amiens, France and completed a one-year of post-doctorate at University of Québec at Trois Rivières (UQTR) in Canada. Dr. Aslı Gül Öncel served as the organizing committee member of the 2013 European Academy of Management (EURAM) conference in İstanbul. Since 2009, she has been teaching statistics, mathematics, and courses on energy and environment politics at Galatasaray University. Her primary research interests are focused on climate change, the environment, and quantitative techniques.
