Ashok Bhusal

Ashok Bhusal has a solid background in the theories and pedagogies of first year composition. He completed his PhD in Rhetoric and Composition at the University of Texas at El Paso. He completed his master’s degree in English from Nepal, Tribhuvan University; he earned his second master’s degree in English with a concentration in Rhetoric/Composition/Professional Writing from Eastern Illinois University, USA. His research interests include multimodal composition, language ideology, multilingualism, and standard language ideology. He has published numerous articles in peer-reviewed journals. He has been teaching mainstream composition at the university level to diverse populations for about a decade in the United States.
