Ashok Asthana

Ashok Kumar Asthana is an alumni and a gold medallist from Jiwaji University, Gwalior. He is a highly motivated, organized and a versatile person with a passion for inculcating innovative methods in teaching. He has done his PGDBM (Approved by AICTE and Eqv. to MBA by AIU) in Marketing and International Business from NDIM and MBA in HRM form Alagappa University. He has qualified UGC-NET in management. He has over 13 years of rich teaching experience. He has done his doctoral research in the area of OB and HR from ICFAI University, Ranchi. His topic of research was related to Attitude and Performance of teachers in higher educational institutions. He is currently working as Assistant professor in Faculty of Commerce and Management, Sarala Birla University, Ranchi, Jharkhand and also holding an additional responsibility of “Dean Student`s Welfare”. Earlier he was associated with New Delhi Institute of Management (Affiliated to GGSIP University), New Delhi. To his credit there are several national, international publications in journal of repute. He has also presented many papers in National and international seminar and conferences. His research areas of interest are Organization Behaviour and HR. He has received many awards and recognition including “Best Teacher Award”, “Chairman`s Appreciation Award for Outstanding Performance”, “Researcher of the Year Award” etc. He has also participated in FDP`S and MDP`s. He is a life time member of TERA. He has been actively mentoring Undergraduates and as well as Post Graduates students so that they can build their career.
