Ashika Pradhan

Ashika Pradhan is currently working at Symbiosis Law School, Hyderabad as an Assistant Professor of Law, where she is taking lectures on subjects Administrative Law, Jurisprudence, Evidence Law, Law of Torts, Special Contract etc. She is currently heading the Centre for Rights of Differently Abled, Symbiosis Law School, Hyderabad and is a Faculty Advisor at Moot Court Association, SLS-H. She has done her B.A. LLB (Hons.) and LLM for University of North Bengal, Department of Law. As a part of her Master’s program she wrote her dissertation on “Effectiveness of Affirmative Action from Prevention of Discrimination against Women Working in Organised Sector in India”. She has qualified NTA UGC National Eligibility Test and WB State Eligibility Test. She also has several publications to her credit in various UGC Care List Journal, blind peer-reviewed Journal and edited books. She has also presented several papers in various National and International Seminars. She is currently enrolled in the Phd. Programme at Maharashtra National Law University, Nagpur. Her research area includes women-centric laws, disabled rights, rights of children etc.
