Armin Grunwald

Armin GrunwaldArmin Grunwald, Prof. Dr., studied physics, mathematics and philosophy at the universities of Münster and Cologne. After occupations in the industry and at DLR (German Aerospace Center) he became vice director of the European Academy Bad Neuenahr-Ahrweiler in 1996. In 1998 he received the venia legendi for philosophy at Marburg University. Since 1999 Armin Grunwald has been head of the institute for Technology Assessment and systems analysis (ITAS) at Karlsruhe Institute of Technology (KIT), since 2002 also director of the Office of Technology Assessment at the German Bundestag (TAB) and since 2007 also full professor of philosophy of technology at KIT.
