Arindam Majumder

Arindam Majumer is an Assistant Professor in the Mechanical Engineering Department at National Institute of Technology, Agartala, India. He received his BE and ME degrees in Mechanical Engineering from North Maharashtra University, Jalgaon and Indian Institute of Engineering Science and Technology, Shibpur (Formerly Bengal Engineering and Science University) respectively. He obtained PhD degree from Jadavpur University, India in Mechanical Engineering. His current research interests are in the areas of advanced manufacturing systems, scheduling, soft computing techniques, robotics, and non-traditional machining. He has published more than 30 articles in the international refereed journals. Some of his research articles have appeared in Knowledge-Based Systems, Computers & Industrial Engineering, Swarm and Evolutionary Computation, Neural Computing and Applications and Energy. Recently one patent of his group is granted by Indian Patent Office.
