Andrea Perales-Fernandez de-Gamboa

Andrea Perales Fernández de Gamboa is an assistant professor at the Didactics of Language and Literature Department at the University of the Basque Country. She holds a degree in English Studies (UPV/EHU) and a PhD in Modern Foreign Languages and Literatures (University of Tennessee, Knoxville). She also holds an M.A, on Literature and Literary Science and she obtained the teaching certificate (CAP) to become a secondary education teacher. Her research interests include multilingual and intercultural education as well as language teaching. She has published both in national and international journals and book editorials, and she is editing, at the moment, three books on multilingualism, education and migration, on intercultural education and on multilingual approaches to English teaching. She currently leads a national project which evaluates an innovative methodology for literacy in Primary Education.
