Anda Dimitriu

Anda Dimitriu teaches English for Specific Purposes classes at the University of Bucharest. After graduating from the same university with a major in English and a minor in German, she continued with an MA program in British Cultural Studies. Her PhD thesis, which was defended in 2017, revised and then published in 2020, focused on aspects related to the Gothic and violence in Cormac McCarthy’s novels. Her academic interests include the Gothic, film, translation and adaptation studies, as well as genre analysis and blended learning.
