Amreen Taj

Amreen Taj , currently working as Librarian at Yenepoya Pharmacy College and Research Centre, and also currently she is pursuing Ph.D. at the Central University of Gujarat in Gandhinagar, completed her Master's degree in Library and Information Science from the University of Mysore in 2016. Following this, she undertook a library traineeship at the esteemed Indian Institute of Management Ahmedabad (IIM-A) during the academic year 2016-17. She then served as a Project Assistant for NAAC and NIRF projects at the Information and Library Network (INFLIBNET) Centre in Gandhinagar, Gujarat. she has also successfully cleared the UGC-NET and K-SET examinations in Library and Information Science. Additionally, she holds a Diploma in Computer Application (DCA). With a keen interest in teaching and learning, she has contributed to scholarly publications, including one article in a UGC-Care listed journal and four papers presented at national and international conferences. Her research interests encompass Digital Library, Digitalization, Discovery, Access, and long-term Digital Preservation of library resources, LIS Metrics, ICT, Web 2.0 Technologies, and Scholarly Communication. Currently, she serves as a librarian at our college.
