Amit Ranjan

Amit Ranjan is an Assistant Professor at Dr. D.Y. Patil Biotechnology and Bioinformatics institute, under aegis of Dr. D.Y. Patil Vidyapeeth, Pune. He received his Ph.D. degree in Cancer Glycobiology (Life Sciences) from TMC-ACTREC, Homi Bhabha National Institute in 2014. His main interest is focused on understanding the role of glycans on membrane protein in cancer metastasis, use of in-silico or in-vitro approaches to solve biological problems. He was a recipient of travel award from Society for Glycobiology in 2012. Dr. Ranjan has published 8 research articles in national and international well recognized journals.
