Amir Mustapha Charaf is a Medical Doctor with broad experience in Market Access. He contributed to many Pricing, Reimbursement and launch strategies of FDA and EMA newly approved pharmaceuticals and drug candidates, including orphans in Europe, the Middle East & North Africa regions. Skilled in epidemiology, vaccines, orphan drugs, biotechnology, life sciences, and health economics, with a strong medical affairs and business background, he has also worked on intellectual property protection and policies covering not only the economic and trade landscapes but also digital and industrial innovations. Graduated from the Medical Faculty of Sfax (Tunisia) and having followed the European Market Access University Diploma (EMAUD) with certificates in Drug Development and Market Access, Dr. Amir has held various positions in medical affairs, market access, and business development. Dr. Amir’s research interests include Immunology, Internal Medicine, and Oncology, with several works on connective tissue diseases, as well as regulatory and economic requirements for the market access of orphan and innovative therapeutics in the EU.
