Amar Habsaoui

Amar Habsaoui is a research professor in Ibn Tofail University, specializing in organic chemistry. He was born in 1966 in the city of Nador, in northern Morocco. He received his in Organic Chemistry from Aix Marseille University, France in 1999. He has published over 26 articles in international journals. His work has been cited 112 times and his h-index = 7 (in 2022 in SCOPUS). He supervises 20 doctoral theses and has supervised more than 40 master's theses in science. His main research interests are in the field of chemistry, in particular the extraction of bioactive molecules from plant matrices and the valorization of these active principles for their biological interest and as corrosion inhibitors as well as molecular modelling. He has been responsible for Masters in Industrial ingineering and team leaders for Materials and Environmental Engineering: Modeling and Application since 2020.
