Amalio C. Nieves

Amalio C. Nieves serves as Professional Learning Director for Panorama Education. Prior to joining Panorama, his district experiences spanned large urban school districts, including Chicago Public Schools, Broward County Public Schools, Boston Public Schools, and Baltimore County Public Schools, serving in roles including teacher, curriculum specialist, director, and executive director. Dr. Nieves was the first-ever assistant superintendent for SEL and Wellness in the nation. He has extensive experience in strategy, leadership, and professional development and has presented nationally on SEL and MTSS. Dr. Nieves has also taught graduate-level courses on professional learning and evidence-based teaching and learning.
