Alla Zareva

Alla Zareva , Ph.D., is a Professor of Applied Linguistics in the Department of English at Old Dominion University, USA. Her research interests cover a variety of topics such as the organization of the bilingual mental lexicon, language features of L1 and L2 presentations, ESL teacher training and professional development, among others. She is the recipient of grants, scholarships, and fellowships from the George Soros Foundation, the British Council, the U.S. Department of Education, and several U.S. universities. She has also taught and carried out research at several top-tier universities in the U.S. and abroad and has published and presented her work nationally and internationally.
