Alice Gruber

Alice Gruber , PhD (University of Reading, UK), is Professor of Business English at Augsburg University of Applied Sciences, Germany. She is a teacher trainer and a fully qualified language teacher with twenty years of experience at the secondary and tertiary levels. She has taught foreign languages and linguistics in the UK and Germany. She conducts research on additional language learning pedagogies and technology-enhanced language education, focusing on virtual reality and augmented reality for language learning. She is particularly interested in the use of VR for virtual exchange projects. Her research interests also include English as a Lingua Franca and intercultural communication.
