Adedeji Tella

Adedeji Tella, Ph.D., is a lecturer in the department of science and Technology Education, Faculty of Education, University of Ibadan, Nigeria. He holds a Ph.D in Teacher Education with focus in Mathematics Education and Curriculum Instruction from University of Ibadan. In addition he holds M.Ed in Mathematics Education and Curriculum Instruction, B.Ed in Mathematics/Chemistry from the same university and Nigerian Certificate in Education (NCE) in Mathematics/Chemistry from Osun State College of Education Ilesa. His research focuses on Mathematics and sciences instructional effectiveness and quality improvement, ICT in mathematics and Science Education in learning mathematics, mathematics curriculum design and misconception. Psychological variables as predictors of learning mathematics/sciences and research methodologies. Dr Tella has published research activities in the above areas at both local and international reputable refereed journals. He has presented papers at various international conferences, contributed chapters to a number of books and encyclopedias, and co-authored monetho. Thirty mathematics textbooks and e-books for both primary and secondary schools in Nigeria for reputable publishers e.g Evans Publisher Nigeria Ltd, Nelson Publisher Nigeria Ltd and others. He is a seasoned public examinations examiners and accessor to Port Forte Harvey University, South Africa for Postgraduate students. He is also an accessor to many learned journals and member of learned professional associations. He is currently the Subdean Postgraduate, Faculty of Education, University of Ibadan from 1 Aug. 2017 – 31 July 2019. His current research focuses on Left handedness and students’ learning outcomes in mathematics.
