Abhishek Vaish

Abhishek Vaish is a faculty member at IIIT Allahabad and a guest faculty member at the Moscow Institute of Physics and Technology, Moscow, and the University of Computer Studies, Yangon, Myanmar. He established a dedicated Cyber Security Lab at the University of Computer Studies in Yangon. Dr. Vaish has published over 50 scientific papers in international journals, conferences, and book chapters. He played a key role in founding and initiating the 'Information Security' course at the Indian Institute of Information Technology, Allahabad. Dr. Vaish has served as a scientific advisor to the Ministry of Science and Technology from the Indian Government to the Russian Federation and is an Academic Advocate for the Infosec Audit and Control Association, USA. He has supervised four Ph.D. candidates and over 100 master's students. In addition, he has handled various cybersecurity projects at Wipro Ltd., specializing in web application testing, wireless penetration testing, and implementing an Information Security Management System for Bharti Airtel India.
