Abdel-Karim Al-Tamimi

Abdel-Karim Al-Tamimi is a senior lecturer of Computer Science at Sheffield Hallam University, where he leads the innovative online MSc programme in Computer Science. Esteemed in the field, he holds the position of Senior Fellow of the Higher Education Academy (SFHEA) and is a certified expert in Digital Teaching and Learning. Dr Al-Tamimi is the lead of both the Conversational AI Research Cluster (CAIRC) and the Interactive Data Analytics Group (iDAG). His current research focus is on harnessing machine learning techniques to tackle interdisciplinary challenges across Digital Health, Natural Language Processing (NLP), Conversational AI, and Computer Security domains.
