Aakansha C. Saxena

Aakansha Saxena is currently working as Assistant Professor at the School of Information Technology, Artificial Intelligence and Cyber Security, Rashtriya Raksha University. She holds the academic experience of 6+ years and currently pursuing PhD in Machine Learning from Ahmedabad University. She has received National Scholarship (National Fusion Program) for her dissertation (Post Graduation) in Data Analytics and Visualisation from Institute for Plasma Research(IPR)- Department of Atomic Energy (DAE), Government of India in 2015. She was also at Laurentian University Sudbury Canada in 2013 for her International Experience Program to gain expertise in Web Data Management and Wireless Communication, Mobile Computing. She has been awarded IBM Badges from IBM Skills Academy for Artificial Intelligence Analyst-Explorer Award in 2020. Ms Aakansha is oriented towards research and wants to contribute to the field of Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning. She has Worked and Mentored various group of students in Research Projects under SSIP (Student Startup and Innovation Projects). Under her mentorship, her students won first prize in “Gujarat Industrial Hackathon” and has been awarded with cash prize from Honourable Education Minister, Government of Gujarat. She has also received Grants from SSIP for working on POC. Moreover, she was Invited as a JURY Member Panel in the Grand Finale of Gujarat Industrial Hackathon 2k19 held at Pandit Deen Dayal Petroleum University. Apart from teaching, She has been actively involved in various committees , on various administrative positions at department as well as university level such as Member of BoS(Board of Studies), Member of IT Cell-ERP, Exam Coordinator, Admission Counselling Committee etc. She aims to equip students, researchers with the necessary background and technical knowledge for successful careers in Computer Science Engineering.
