A. Vijayalakshmi

Vijayalakshmi A. received her B.E. in Electronics and Communication Engineering from Madurai Kamaraj University, M.E. in Embedded System Technologies and Ph.D. in Information and Communication Engineering from Anna University, Chennai, India. She received a Gold Medal in her Post Graduation.. She is currently working as an Associate Professor in the Department of Electronics and Communication Engineering, VELS Institute of Science, Technology and Advanced Studies, Chennai. India. She has rich teaching and research experience of 22 years. She also has research experience of 5 years. She has received the Faculty Excellence Award twice. Her area of research interest includes Wireless Sensor Network, 5G, Artificial Intelligence, Internet of Things, Deep learning, Robotics and Embedded System Design. Seven research scholars are currently working under her guidance. She is a recognized research supervisor in VISTAS and also RAC member for research scholars from various reputed universities including Anna University. She has published many journal publications in reputed journals, conference publications and Book Chapters. She is the Editor and reviewer for peer reviewed impact factor journals including IEEE Sensors, IET Communications. She is a Life Member of Professional Societies IETE and ISTE.
