Brindaalakshmi K.

Brindaalakshmi K. is a queer feminist research and advocacy professional working at the intersection of gender, sexuality, human rights and technology. They are authoring the study, Gendering of Development in India: Post Trans Act 2019 as part of the Our Voices, Our Future project supported by Association for Progressive Communications (APC). This is a follow-up to their previous study, Gendering of Development Data in India: Beyond the Binary (2020) undertaken for the Centre for Internet & Society, India as part of the Big Data for Development Network supported by IDRC, Canada. Brindaa’s advocacy work is informed by their work as a peer supporter and activist working with LGBTIQA+ community.
