Fawad Naseer has over 13 𝐲𝐞𝐚𝐫𝐬 𝐨𝐟 𝐞𝐱𝐩𝐞𝐫𝐢𝐞𝐧𝐜𝐞 𝐚𝐬 𝐚𝐧 𝐞𝐝𝐮𝐜𝐚𝐭𝐨𝐫 𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝐫𝐞𝐬𝐞𝐚𝐫𝐜𝐡𝐞𝐫 in the field of computer science and robotics engineering. Currently, he serves as 𝐇𝐞𝐚𝐝 𝐨𝐟 𝐒𝐜𝐡𝐨𝐨𝐥 𝐟𝐨𝐫 𝐂𝐨𝐦𝐩𝐮𝐭𝐞𝐫 𝐒𝐜𝐢𝐞𝐧𝐜𝐞 𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝐒𝐨𝐟𝐭𝐰𝐚𝐫𝐞 𝐄𝐧𝐠𝐢𝐧𝐞𝐞𝐫𝐢𝐧𝐠 at 𝐁𝐞𝐚𝐜𝐨𝐧𝐡𝐨𝐮𝐬𝐞 𝐈𝐧𝐭𝐞𝐫𝐧𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧𝐚𝐥 𝐂𝐨𝐥𝐥𝐞𝐠𝐞 in Pakistan, managing multiple campuses across the country to provide transnational higher education degree programmes from the universities of United Kingdom (UK). Fawad has taught various programming and core computer science courses since 2009, implementing quality standards from universities like the 𝐔𝐧𝐢𝐯𝐞𝐫𝐬𝐢𝐭𝐲 𝐨𝐟 𝐋𝐨𝐧𝐝𝐨𝐧 𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝐋𝐢𝐯𝐞𝐫𝐞𝐫𝐩𝐨𝐨𝐥 𝐉𝐨𝐡𝐧 𝐌𝐨𝐨𝐫𝐞'𝐬. He is also a 𝐋𝐞𝐚𝐝 𝐈𝐧𝐭𝐞𝐫𝐧𝐚𝐥 𝐕𝐞𝐫𝐢𝐟𝐢𝐞𝐫 for LJMU based BSc Software Engineering degree. He has a 𝐏𝐡𝐃 𝐢𝐧 𝐄𝐥𝐞𝐜𝐭𝐫𝐢𝐜𝐚𝐥 𝐄𝐧𝐠𝐢𝐧𝐞𝐞𝐫𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐟𝐨𝐜𝐮𝐬𝐞𝐝 𝐨𝐧 𝐑𝐨𝐛𝐨𝐭𝐢𝐜𝐬 and is an active researcher in robotics and AI domain. Fawad is an internationally certified robotics education trainer and has 𝐦𝐞𝐧𝐭𝐨𝐫𝐞𝐝 students with organizations like 𝐔𝐧𝐢𝐯𝐞𝐫𝐬𝐢𝐭𝐲 𝐨𝐟 𝐖𝐞𝐬𝐭𝐦𝐢𝐧𝐬𝐭𝐞𝐫, 𝐓𝐡𝐞 𝐍𝐞𝐰 𝐘𝐨𝐫𝐤 𝐀𝐜𝐚𝐝𝐞𝐦𝐲 𝐨𝐟 𝐒𝐜𝐢𝐞𝐧𝐜𝐞𝐬 etc,. He has extensive 𝐞𝐱𝐩𝐞𝐫𝐢𝐞𝐧𝐜𝐞 𝐚𝐬 𝐚 𝐜𝐨𝐧𝐬𝐮𝐥𝐭𝐚𝐧𝐭 for different colleges and universities on AI, robotics, and STEM education. Fawad has been a 𝐣𝐮𝐝𝐠𝐞 for major competitions including 𝐐𝐒 𝐑𝐞𝐢𝐦𝐚𝐠𝐢𝐧𝐞 𝐄𝐝𝐮𝐜𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧 𝐀𝐰𝐚𝐫𝐝 2023 in Dubai, RoboFest at Beaconhouse College Programme (BCP), NEXUS by Angels International College etc,. and 𝐠𝐮𝐞𝐬𝐭 𝐬𝐩𝐞𝐚𝐤𝐞𝐫 at events like IEEE conferences, Future Fest and positive Pakistan. His expertise spans artificial intelligence, machine learning, computer vision and innovative pedagogical approaches for higher education. His research areas are Autonomous Robots, Intelligent Machines etc.
Dr Cheryl Yu, SFHEA As an international higher education practitioner and researcher, Dr Cheryl Yu has over 16 years of international higher education experience, encompassing strategy business development and implementations, partnership development, student recruitment, admissions, Transnational Education, and student experience, having successfully funded one and managed two overseas campuses, internationalisation of the curriculum and digital education. Recently, she was awarded SFHEA as a recognition of her contribution to the sector. Cheryl previously held the position of Director of International Development at University for the Creative Arts, where she created a whole department of International from scratch and transformed the internationalisation strategy of the University. Prior to this, Cheryl was appointed as the Assistant Dean (Academic) at Birmingham Institute of Fashion & Creative Art (BIFCA), Wuhan Textile University (part of Birmingham City University) where she led a team of 30 academics in running 3 creative undergraduate programmes with a student population of over 600. She was also a co-founder of the BIFCA institute. Before this, she also worked at Winchester School of Arts, part of the University of Southampton, and the University of Central Lancashire. As a practitioner, she has extensive experience in developing and running Transnational Education (TNE) partnerships, international marketing and student recruitment and support. As a senior academic, she supervised PhD students. Her PhD research focused on the 'Inequality in Chinese Higher Education and Its Relation to Students' Internal Mobility: A case study of internal movement of art and design university students. As an art director and project manager, she has participated in several international exhibitions, including From Lausanne to Beijing International Fibre Art Biennale in China in 2014 and 2016; the first International Glass Biennale in Shanghai; Archi Biennale in Japan in 2012; artists’ solo/joint exhibitions in Xiamen and Wuhan in 2016/17. Her research interest focuses on the comparative study of art and design higher education between China and the UK; internationalisation of higher education; critical theories and posthumanism. She can supervise PhD students in a wide range of subjects, international education, fibre arts, art management, decolonial feminism with a focus on the context of China.
Dr. Rhytheema Dulloo, Ph.D. in Marketing, is a leading researcher at the forefront of understanding consumer behavior in the digital age. Her doctoral dissertation, "Consumers' online shopping behavior through use of mobile apps in the e-tailing industry," delves into the complex world of mobile commerce and its impact on consumer decision-making. This work has laid the foundation for her continued exploration of the consumer landscape, shaped by her keen interest in AI, marketing, consumer behavior, and retail management. Dr. Dulloo's research prowess was recently recognized with the "Best Research Project" award for her study on "Voice Based Artificial Intelligence Technologies: Study on User Acceptance in the Era of Digital Disruption." This accolade demonstrates her profound understanding of the transformative power of AI and its potential to reshape the marketing landscape. Dr. Dulloo's thirst for knowledge extends beyond the classroom. Her participation in the Singapore immersion Study Tour and Interdisciplinary workshop at Management Development Institute Singapore on "Marketing in the Neo-World" further broadened her perspective and exposed her to cutting-edge insights on marketing strategies in the global marketplace. Driven by an insatiable curiosity and a commitment to continuous learning, Dr. Dulloo actively invests in her professional development. Her academic journey extends beyond her Ph.D., boasting completed courses from prestigious institutions like the University of London (Research Methodology), University of Virginia (Introduction to Personal Branding), University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign (Marketing Management) to name a few. This diverse academic exposure has equipped her with a comprehensive understanding of marketing fundamentals and the latest trends shaping the industry. Munshi Muhammad Abdul Kader Jilani, PhD, is an Assistant Professor of Human Resource Management at Bangladesh Institute of Governance and Management (BIGM), Dhaka. He completed his Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) in Human Resource Management from the Wuhan University of Technology, China. He also completed an MBA from IISWBM, the University of Calcutta, on Human Resource Management. Dr. Jilani also completed his BBA and another MBA in International Management from the University of Chittagong, Bangladesh. His research interests include leadership capability in public sectors, knowledge management, workplace hazing, employee resilience, business strategy, psychological ownership, e-business, and m-Health. His research has appeared in academic journals, including the Journal of Human Behavior in the Social Environment, Asia Pacific Journal of Tourism Research, Sustainability, Management Research Review, Journal of Innovation and Sustainability, among others. Momina Shaheen Fellow, Higher Education Academy (UK), is Lecturer in Computing, in University of Roehampton, London, United Kingdom. She is a Ph.D Scholar with 15+ journal publications and 4 conference publications in Computing and cutting edge technologies. She earned her master’s in software engineering from Bahria University Islamabad Campus in 2016. She has more than 6 years of experience in research and academia. She has supervised and initiated a number of projects in her career. She has lead different project in the area of Machine Learning, Data Science, Artificial Intelligence, Internet of things, Cognitive Sciences and Distributed Systems.
