Young-Chan Lee

Dr. Young-Chan Lee is a Professor in the Department of Information Management at Dongguk University, Korea. He received a Ph.D. in Management Science in the Department of Business Administration from Sogang University, Korea.

He is a scholar who has cited more than 2,500 research papers published in international journals in Google Scholar Search. His research appears in good-quality international journals such as Behavior and Information Technology, International Journal of Bank Marketing, Human Factors and Ergonomics in Manufacturing & Service Industries, Information Systems Management, Knowledge-Based Systems, Expert Systems with Applications, and so on. And he also has published tens of books, won many research funds, and participated in various governmental projects.

He was awarded ‘Most Cited Paper of Expert Systems with Applications (Elsevier) in 2006-2008’ and ‘Top Downloaded Paper of Human Factors and Ergonomics in Manufacturing & Service Industries (Wiley) in 2018-2019’. He was also awarded Best Paper of International Conference on Electronic Commerce (ICEC) in 2022, Korea Association of Information Systems in 2021, 2009, and 2010 successively, and Korea Academic Society of Business Administration in 2016.

From October 2012 to February 2016, he served as Dean of the Office of International Affairs at Dongguk University. In 2016, he established the Institute for Global Studies and has served as the director, making great efforts in convergence research covering humanities, society, and science and technology.
