Lawrence Arokiasamy

Dr Lawrence Arokiasamy is an Associate Professor of Management and Humanities, at Universiti Teknologi Petronas, Malaysia. He earned his bachelor's degree in Business Administration from the University of Malaya, Malaysia in 1999 and a Master of Science in Human Resource Development from University Putra Malaysia in 2003. Then, he obtained his Ph.D. from University Putra Malaysia in 2011. He involves actively in research encompasses the areas of applied and basic research on academician's career development and cyber entrepreneurship among business students in private higher education. He has more than 65 papers accepted/published in national and international journal articles including those ranked by Thomson Reuters (ISI) (8 articles) and indexed in SCOPUS/ERA (30 articles), conference, or seminar proceedings and international papers. He has appointed as a Penal for MQA Assessor by MQA. He was also awarded the Fundamental Research Grant Scheme (FRGS) from the Ministry of Higher Education (MOHE) Malaysia (2010). He was appointed as a paper reviewer for the World Applied Sciences Journal (Scopus indexed). He has also been appointed as an external examiner for Ph.D. VIVA for selected public and private universities in Malaysia and Oversea. He is on the Editorial Board for the American Research Institute for Policy Development for the Journal of Human Resource Management and Labor Studies.
