Introduction

Organizational resilience, at its core, represents the synthesis of skills inherent in Information Systems (IS) and Information and Communications Technology (ICT) innovation. As organizations navigate a dynamic landscape fraught with diverse threats and vulnerabilities, resilience emerges as an imperative for survival and sustained success. This book explores thoroughly into the intricate interplay between organizational resilience and the transformative forces of Digital Transformation, Digitalization, Internet of Things (IoT), Innovation and Sustainability, and Cloud Computing. Through a comprehensive exploration of these critical fields, readers gain insights into how technological advancements shape and fortify organizational resilience in the face of adversity. Moreover, this book goes beyond mere theoretical discourse, seeking to bridge the gap between conceptual understanding and practical application. By examining real-world case studies and best practices, it offers actionable strategies for cultivating resilience from the perspectives of various stakeholders. One of the key objectives of this book is to foster a holistic understanding of organizational resilience, shedding light on the underlying factors that drive success in today's rapidly evolving digital landscape. Objective

Organizational resilience and digital transformation solutions are critical success factors in preserving organizations from the various threats they face today. In this sense, teachers, students, partners, entrepreneurs, and even public and private organizations are more aware of the concerns underlying the topic under study, given the current dependence on IS and ICT. In this context, in view of the challenges advocated by Organizational Resilience, incorporating concerns about the use of various digital devices and resources. In this sense, Organizational Resilience and Digital Transformation enhance the interconnection between various areas so that IS and ICT allow organizations to increasingly effectively face the various adversities with which they are currently confronted. It is intended to present a multidisciplinary approach that covers several themes to contribute to the optimization of the level of Organizational Resilience. The aim of this book is to present chapters describing research work on the various topics of the Organizational Resilience and Digital transformation to contribute to Social Innovation. It is emphasized the impact of its implementation in an organizational context to optimize established practices in the various fields of knowledge, given the relationship between the organizational Resilience and Digital transformation for the benefit of People and the Society. This book presents a comprehensive and multidisciplinary approach, thus contributing to a better relationship between ICT and People. Thus, it is considered that the book can be a space for the dissemination of research and studies in various organizational contexts, in an innovative perspective.

Target Audience

The book targets mainly the academic community (university professors, researchers, and students at various levels of education: undergraduate, graduate, masters, and PhD), but this book will also be of added value to public and private institutions, partners, researchers, business managers, and professionals, related to the various domains of Organizational Resilience and Digital transformation.

Submission Procedure

Researchers and practitioners are invited to submit on or before May 31, 2024, a chapter proposal of 1,000 to 2,000 words clearly explaining the mission and concerns of his or her proposed chapter. Authors will be notified by June 14, 2024 about the status of their proposals and sent chapter guidelines.Full chapters are expected to be submitted by September 30, 2024, and all interested authors must consult the guidelines for manuscript submissions at https://www.igi-global.com/publish/contributor-resources/before-you-write/ prior to submission. All submitted chapters will be reviewed on a double-blind review basis. Contributors may also be requested to serve as reviewers for this project.

Note: There are no submission or acceptance fees for manuscripts submitted to this book publication, Leveraging Technology for Organizational Adaptability. All manuscripts are accepted based on a double-blind peer review editorial process.
