Sharon Valarmathi

Dr. Sharon Valarmathi currently serves as an Associate Professor within the Department of Commerce at Christ University, Bengaluru. In addition to her teaching responsibilities, she is the Director of Centre for Service Learning, showcasing her passion to experiential education and community engagement. Her research interests encompass a broad spectrum, with a particular focus on areas such as taxation, research methodology, and management. Her research areas cover topics such as online teaching, University Social Responsibility, service learning experience etc. She is a resource person in research seminars and academic conferences. Her work extends beyond the confines of academia, as demonstrated by her engagement in workshops focused on service-learning methodologies and her receipt of grants aimed at institutionalising service learning within educational settings.
