Dr. Eriona Cela is a distinguished academic and expert in European integration and negotiation, renowned for her contributions to education and public administration in Albania and beyond. Holding prominent positions within multiple institutions, she serves as a key figure at the Academy of European Integration and Negotiations (AIEN), the Albanian School of Public Administration (ASPA), and the Business Academy College. Dr. Cela's expertise is further recognized through her active involvement in various roles related to European Union policies and enlargement strategies. As a Jean Monnet Chair holder at the Institute of European Studies, University of Tirana, Dr. Cela has spearheaded significant projects such as the European Integration School 2023's eighth edition. Her work frequently appears in prestigious publications, including the European Journal of Arts, Humanities and Social Sciences, the European Journal of Contemporary Education, and the International Journal of Balkan Studies. She is also an Associate Editor for the International Journal of Risk and Contingency Management (IJRCM), an IGI Journal. She has also been engaged with the OSCE Academy in Bishkek, Vytautas Magnus University, and the Università degli Studi di Bari Aldo Moro, Dipartimento di Studi Umanistici, where she has furthered research and collaboration on a European scale. Dr. Cela's commitment to educational leadership is demonstrated through her involvement with Shkolla e Drejtorëve (CSL) and the AADF, where she focuses on developing future leaders and administrators. In recognition of her ongoing contributions to education and public administration, Dr. Cela has received numerous accolades and is frequently invited as a keynote speaker at various academic and policy-making webinars. Dr. Narasimha Rao Vajjhala is working as the Dean of the Faculty of Engineering and Architecture at the University of New York Tirana, Albania. He had previously worked as the Chair of Computer Science and Software Engineering programs at the American University of Nigeria. He is a senior member of ACM and IEEE. He is the Editor-in-Chief (EiC) of the International Journal of Risk and Contingency Management (IJRCM). He is also a member of the Risk Management Society (RIMS), and the Project Management Institute (PMI). He has over 23 years of experience teaching programming and database-related courses at both graduate and undergraduate levels in Europe and Africa. He has also worked as a consultant in technology firms in Europe and has experience participating in EU-funded projects. He has completed a Doctorate in Information Systems and Technology (United States); holds a Master of Science in Computer Science and Applications (India), and a Master of Business Administration with a specialization in Information Systems (Switzerland).
Assoc. Prof. Mathias Mbu Fonkam is a distinguished Associate Professor at the Penn State College of Information Sciences and Technology. With a rich background in computer science and systems engineering, Dr. Fonkam's academic and professional journey is marked by significant contributions to both academia and the software industry. Dr. Fonkam earned his Ph.D. in Computer Science from Cardiff University, where he also completed his Master of Science in Systems Engineering and Bachelor of Science with Honors in Computer Engineering. His scholarly work is complemented by industry certifications, including Sun Certified Programmer on the Java II Platform and multiple certifications from IBM's Cognitivelabs.ai in areas such as Data Science, Blockchain Technologies, and Cryptocurrencies. Professionally, Dr. Fonkam has an extensive record of academic leadership and innovation. Before his current role at Penn State University, he served as the Dean and Associate Professor at the American University of Nigeria (AUN). During his tenure, he played a pivotal role in establishing and leading the development of the University’s open-source ERP system and its learning management system, CANVAS. His efforts in curriculum development and the implementation of graduate programs significantly advanced AUN’s educational offerings. Dr. Fonkam's contributions extend beyond administrative leadership. He has been actively involved in the Nigerian academic community, participating in committees for the National Universities Commission (NUC) to develop new computing degree programs and accreditations. His international experience includes roles at Albany State University, St. Joseph’s University, and as a visiting professor in Brazil, enhancing his global perspective on education in computer science and engineering. A prolific researcher and educator, Dr. Fonkam’s interests span various aspects of computer science, including open-source software development, AI, data science, machine learning, and blockchain technology. His publications and conference presentations address a wide range of topics from systems dynamics to the application of ICTs in crisis management. Dr. Mathias Mbu Fonkam is a dedicated educator and researcher whose work continues to influence the fields of information technology and computer science education, preparing the next generation of IT professionals and scholars.
