Rahmatu Kassimu

Rahmatu Kassimu is an educator, researcher, public health consultant, and change agent. She has spent the last nine years educating students and training teachers to advocate for themselves in their educational trajectories. Her degrees in Sociology, Public Health, Health Studies, and Educational Leadership have allowed her to combine her passion for education, increasing the quality of life, and increasing health equity into her labor of love, Dr. K.’s Health Minute, which provides easily accessible and digestible health and wellness information on a variety of topics with concentrations on mental health, Black maternal health, and health inequities.
