Hao Fan

Hao Fan received the Doctoral degree in computer and information systems from the Department of Computer and Information Systems, Birkbeck College, University of London, U.K., in 2005. He is a Full Professor with the School of Information Management, Wuhan University. He is currently a Doctoral Supervisor and a member of the Communist Party of China. From 1995 to 2001, he worked with the Department of Information Management, Central China Normal University. From 2004 to 2005, he worked with the London Knowledge Laboratory. In recent years, he has published more than 30 papers in Chinese and international journals or conferences, and meanwhile presided over or participated in several vertical/horizontal research projects, and edited two textbooks. At present, he is mainly engaged in the research of information content analysis, intelligence mining, text semantic understanding, knowledge organization, knowledge service, data intelligence, and big data analysis.
